At Affirm, we provide evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, offered virtually in Maryland, Virginia, and participating PSYPACT® states. Therapy is designed to support emotional regulation, identity development, and day-to-day functioning within a respectful, strengths-based framework.

Our Approach
Grounded in respect for neurodiversity, therapy is designed to support clients in building emotional regulation, navigating life, and exploring identity development.
We also address co-occurring mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, recognizing the unique ways these can intersect with autism and other neurodivergent experiences.
Session Format
Therapy services are offered through secure telehealth.
Virtual therapy is available to clients located in Maryland, Virginia, and participating PSYPACT® states. This format allows for consistent, high-quality care while offering flexibility and accessibility for families.
Therapy sessions are about 50 minutes per session.
What to Expect
Clients typically begin with an initial consultation to discuss goals, determine fit, and identify appropriate therapeutic supports. The number of sessions is individualized.
Therapy is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s needs, with ongoing adjustments as goals evolve.
